Sep 24, 2014 4:37pm I really appreciate the advice. I’m aware of the selling price time scaling and focusing on price/time. I tried balancing before and found that the highest MPS were found on insane – my last test was around Orichalcum but since the price ratio hadn’t changed much I assumed it didn’t change. Now I just tested it with my current upgrades: Expensive 1.100z$/s (Ruby Mail of Insanity), Very Expensive 2.400z$/s (Meganium Helm of Carnage) and Insane ~7.000z$/s (Zettanium Gloves of Stars). This is only with 3.586k ascensions. What am I doing wrong? show less

I produce 15 bars per smelting, for gloves that need 24 bars. But I just have auto smelt high enough that its “bars per second” exceeds the “bars required per second” by 0.01 – in my case it’s Infinitium +6 Gloves that requires 0.45 bars per second – and my smelting produces 0.46 bars per second. show less

I tested your Insane selling rate, and… yeah, I’ll concede. Your path works a lot better than I thought it would. Part of that is almost certainly selling Infinitium +27 instead of Devilium, but the fact that Insane One thing to note, though – you generally want to not bother with much but mail. Mail gives the highest return per ore, as well as not taking up all that much more time to forge. Your Infinitium +6 Gloves are worth the same as Infinitium +5 Mail – and you can probably make the mail a bit faster. show less

My current +9 gloves are a little bit faster to forge than +7 mail, and I’m not sure +7 mail is worth more worth than +9 gloves. +8 mail is half as fast to forge as +9 gloves though. My initial reason to move to gloves was foolishly to increase ore and bar consumption only because I was tired of having to upgrade mining and smelting so little. But now I think it’s actually also the most price efficient. I’d be glad to hear your test results though. show less |
