FINALLY! ._. -- Now, the game is freaking fun as hell, but (and I know you fixed it in two) it's SO boring/tedious to replay the first 500 feet after losing in the later hundreds... It's slow and obnoxious. Props on the game, and as always, I LOVE pixel art in games. It's just my generation's art style. Well done.
I'm not even trying for the hard award, that's mental. This game is too long for a 200 second run without perfect reflexes and memory. The controls are too loose, and there's some really crappy jumps.
This game has too many things to collide with before you can even control it, you just end up landing on an arrow or beside an enemy or boss, or on spikes, or a fireball, or any number of things, and you can't control it at all, not to mention, some pits are too tall and you instantly die, even though you can't see that from above...
I agree with Vincent1337, and deredgar, except that there should be some way to fix this issue, I do think it is on the programmer, at least letting you not walk straight into a spike, maybe have corners you can, and cannot turn on so you don't get messed up by the walk-turn...
also, the controls themselves were really uncomfortable, and the jump is so precise it makes certain levels tedious... this thing could be great if a lot more thought were put in the controls and it were more puzzle-themed... the nearly Kaizo-like jumps of the later levels are really not a way to show the quality of this design.
