Great game so far. I do feel like there should be some indication of whether or not you've reached 100% map explored or 100% enemies killed (aside from the ahievements, when you haven't done them).
I've liked all of your games, but I'm still a bit disappointed that you don't seem to have implemented any of the suggestions that people have been asking for over the years. Also, the rulers (though I see how some could find them useful) are very distracting; you should always implement a way to turn off things like that.
A wonderful game. It's been ages since there was a good platformer with good badges. I only wish I'd known about this game when it came out. I would like to see a reset world option inside the level, though. Kind of a pain to quit completely out and then go back to World Select every time.
I find it a bit irksome that the reward/energy cost of enemies in the first area is the same as enemies in the third area. Yet the enemies in the third area are much stronger. Why would I progress? Why wouldn't I just farm money in the first area? There's absolutely no benefit to progress, except to watch the "story".
One thing I might suggest adding is a game log to which you can refer during the match. That way if you look away and miss what the AI purchased or what monster they defeated, you can toggle it and take a look. I wouldn't recommend being able to review the entire match while you're playing, but maybe just the events of the turn immediately previous.
Oh, I may have spoken too soon in my earlier comment - while the campaigns are depressingly similar, the skirmish mode does contain most (if not all) of the cards from the base game, at least.
You really should have made all the cards from the base game unlockable, and then kept the expansions as purchaseable with Kreds. As it is, people won't see any variety in the game (which is the entire draw of a game like Thunderstone or Dominion - it being different every time) and won't be interested in playing it more. I was excited to see this on the site, and hope more publishers sponsor Flash versions of board/card games in the future, but you have to work on your implementation.
For those who are complaining about VP - VP *is* secret, and is intended to be. Not precisely knowing whether or not you're in the best position to end the game by capturing the Thunderstone is part of the game.
I would have rated this 5/5 and favourited it solely on the basis of it not having achievements/perks/upgrades. Finally, a game that doesn't get exponentially easier the more you fail (except as your own skill and experience grows).
Well done, good sir.
Great little game, though the computer AI for the tile minigame/fight sequence is abysmal. Also, I think it would be worth setting a single button to retry level from start/checkpoint, for time trial purposes.
Not bad. Would be nice to half a function to space-click a square that is already uncovered to automatically uncover all the ones adjacent to it (like in actual Minesweeper, when you've already flagged the mines around a number).
And guardro: It's possible that more than one person is a convicted felon. It would be awfully easy if only one person could be something. It's part of the time. A good part.
