So I can continue getting Crystal, Technician, Worker, Searching, and Warrior Drone upgrades, but Foundry has locked out at 22 purchased and both Metal and Computer have locked out at 2 purchased, now permanently saying "Can't buy limit reached". This new prestige system appears very buggy.
Everything was going well, then all of a sudden, not well at all. Heat spiked to well over 40k (with a heat capacity of 1k), power was off the charts, and none of my heat vents worked anymore. The upgrades that automatically sell power aren't working, either.
Level 29 made me say "screw it". Great game concept, some fun implementation, but I'd far prefer this in a different format. Maybe a nice relaxing game without the police patrols or the time limit?
I thought rather poorly of this game. I feel it was needlessly confusing, both from an interface screw and lack of visual definition standpoint; contained pointless, distracting facebook/twitter links; and lacked any form of understandable, enjoyable story. For those who enjoyed it, more power to you, and for me, it was just a frustrating way to waste a bunch of time.
Happiness starts low and plummets with no explanation. No tooltips on icons in game. Lock out on sliders makes figuring out how things affect stats needlessly difficult. Overall, very poor.
Starts slow, gets fast for a bit, then slows right down again. To top it off, someone appears to have found a bug and is now sitting at the top of the high scores list with one billion workers, while the next highest is barely over 160. Needs some serious rebalancing, and a fix to the "stops functioning if you change to a different tab" issue would be nice.
Fun little game. It was over pretty quick, admittedly, and I think that having a longer campaign, one or two more unit types, and perhaps the ability to mix units in a wave (like the enemies do) would all be welcome features.
All that said, did anyone else have issues with the spear infantry being crushed really easily, compared to the wizards and the knights?
I'd love the option to take a 12-stroke penalty and skip a hole sometimes - some of the ones with a sun smack dab in the middle are just plain frustrating.
