If you're having a problem with elevators, just switch to a new shaft one building block over every ten or twenty floors (depending on the size of your hotel) as well as having a staff elevator and at least one more shaft on each floor. There is only one elevator in one shaft and taking the long trip all the way up to the fourty ninth floor and back is how queues build up.
Great, quick fun game. Got the light machine gun quickly then pooled six points to get the laser chain gun or whatever it is. Once you have that gun it's dead easy.
