I've played games from Nitrome before, and I must say that they are all very enjoyable. Final Ninja is no exception. Indeed, my only gripe thus far is with the rope/weapon command. I believe it would work better if situated to one of the keyboard keys instead of the mouse. At least, I would find it easier to wall jump in said case. That aside, this is a very nice platformer with wonderful graphics and tight controls overall. Looking forward to seeing more on Kongregate.
Not bad. I think it plays pretty well, although I perosnally found the game to be a little too easy...or at least it was until the very last level. Also, when eating an enemy, it seems you need to give chase straight on; going at an angle doesn't work as well (or at least for me it didn't).
Overall it was a fun playthrough, and I look forward to any possible future games that may be made.
Charming little game; it’s a bit repetitive after one gets the initial gist of how things work, but still entertaining. I also enjoyed being able to interact with the various levels and fish, and hope that if a sequel is ever made, that even more interactions will be made possible.
The artwork/scenery throughout the game is also well done, so another plus there - I absolutely loved the looks of the fish when they were shocked and angry, by the way. All in all I’d say to give it a playthrough when you can. 4/5; it accomplishes being a simple yet endearing game.
Simple concept, but it plays well, looks good, and is overall a fun title. I'm glad it was uploaded here. Keep them coming, DigYourOwnGrave, I'ma going to be keeping an eye out for you now.
Also, the impossible badge shall be fun to try and get, yes.
Ack! Thought I had a great web, but when the first bat came, it took everything out! Ah well, caught a H. Bird at least.
But yeah, in all this game is quite fun, and pretty unique. I'm very much so enjoying myself. Ah, and if you find that you begin to lag/web breaks early on, try not making it span across the whole screen.
Tis an alright game once one gets started. The idea isn't bad, and the animals/elements are a neat aspect. It is, however, quite easy after the first one or two maps are completed. Make it to the last world though, and you'll find a bit more of a challenge. Also, blue spaces sometimes trigger a fight, which is pointless once you are maxed out, since you won't get many, if any points at all, eventually. As already mentioned, it would have been better if blue spaces were optional fights (i.e, you click on them to fight again if you wish to train more). In all, I don't think it's a bad game to come back to every now and again; especially with badges to win, but it is very much so repetitive/easy, so just don't expect too much. As for save errors, I had no problems, except that the game would at rare times freeze on me.
Not bad. It's on the easy side for me, personally, but it's great for some quick plays. 247581 was my score on my third or forth try (first play I shot the Turkey straight up, lol). In all, a good, but easy, holiday-themed game. 3/5.
A cute, simple, yet fun title. It took me some tries to get the badge. I ended up returning to play every now and again throughout the days. And, despite now having the badge, I'll probably end up returning to play it again anyway (as well as see how well my friends do with it).
In all, 3/5. It's short, simple, cute, and while it can be frustrating at first, it's still overall a fun game. Perfect for those in the mood for quick play of something fast paced. Additionally, it's not hard to get into, and the beat is catchy.
Nice game. I enjoyed playing it, and believe it fits in well with the whole "buried treasure" idea. Quite a lot is happening as one moves forward though (maybe a bit too much; I had to patient quite a few times, but a little bit of waiting won't kill). I also liked the boss battle. It was a great final touch.
Like Filler, but with its differences - one must destroy the balls, and there are special power orbs now and again. In all, it is enjoyable. I believe it fits in well as a "buried treasure".
A cute and fun little game, indeed; I quite enjoyed it. And a tip for those of you trying to get the hard badge - upgrade your band and launcher most of the way (if not all the way). I personally didn't upgrade mine *all* the way, but I had an e-rocket upgrade to help (double, I believe). Rader is also awesome for keeping you in the air longer (so long as you play by it) so check into that when you can. And, with any leftover cash, make small upgrades to other areas (saving your cash is really best for day one, methinks). In any case, you should be getting more to spend by being out longer each time, so use that to your advantage. That was how I played it anyway. Hope this is somewhat helpful.
Alright! Finally got hold of that impossible badge! Followed the steps everyone was commenting with to see if anything would come of such a strategy. It did! Took a bunch of times to get it to work, but I found the results close most of the time. Badge win had me around 91 days in realistic mode. Overall, a fun game. I quite enjoyed trying different tactics along the way (My own, and others). Guess the only other thing to say is: Take that Madagascar! (Last boat got em'!) Ah, and thanks for the tips.
