Stop making these games have lag-happy, 45-60 second "YOU LOSE" animations. Noting makes me less likely to play a game that's so close to the bullet hell genre than being punished for not quite dodging that ONE supid laser
yeah, i don't see why an 8-bit styled game needs to make my computer almost CRASH with the lag. Too bad you guys don't know how to program games for the masses, and only make things for the Pro Gamers community. My computer isn't top of the line, but it can run almost anything else on Kong. Just not this crap. Bad code is bad.
Ran into a LOT of problems with damage not assigning correctly. My computer runs pretty slow (which was actually a GOOD thing in this kind of game; it's like a slow-mo function), so I could easily move to get the bullets to hit certain units, and not others. So why, when I line up 20+ shots on one of my riflemen, did he take no damage? and then, later, half the other units suddenly dropped to 1/2 health, when there were no enemies/red bullets on screen at ALL? Also, I must have died 5 or 6 times so far from a bomb landing on the far back units in my squad, and even though THEY were the ones that flashed red, my commander took all the damage from it and they kept full health. These flaws are hard to see at full-speed, but thanks to my lag (which SHOULD NOT affect damage assignment at ALL), it's perfectly visible to me.
Oh. My. GAWDS! That sudden, loud car crash noise almost gave me a friggin' HEART ATTACK! Awesome game, but the sheer shock value of that made me rate it 1/5. That was dirty, low, and unkind. Please consider maybe having the car rev up and tires screech, rather than SUDDEN BLARE OF IMMENSE NOISE in a game where, by comparison, the slow and gentle background noise is almost inaudible. And don't spew any crap about "the car crash itself was sudden, and had as loud of an impact on the lives of the characters as the noise," because it's not fair to do that to your players. >.<
Poor control of where to click; the exit areas were too large. Also, some clues would shimmer if you were in the area for any length of time, while others wouldn't. Needs more consistency. Thirdly, if you're going to make a game with historical reference to Nazis, please do NOT imply that people who were forced to work for the Nazi regime were, themselves, Nazis. Wernher von Braun was NOT a Nazi, though I honestly have no clue about the other names mentioned.
Somewhat lame concept, though certainly not the worst I've seen on this site. Programming doesn't look too bad. The worst part to me is that it's racist as all hell (though I'm guessing something got lost in translation; it's rather obvious that English isn't this man's first language), and like people have been saying, the XP counter is too slow. Maybe add a click-to-finish? 2/5
2/5 It's been done to death; stop it already. Controls are crap; simple, yes, but almost uselessly so. Respawn should have a button, and not glitch AT ALL; waiting for your car to stop wobbling (or learning each car's correct direction to push to ENSURE wobblestop) is annoying as can be, and the fact that half the time, you respawn upside down or flying around like crazy (usually backwards) makes it 100x worse. Overall, i only kept playing out of rage, and to get the freaking challenge.
1 star. Level 5 seems to be impossible, or at least EXTREMELY touchy about exactly which pixel you click to get it to go fast enough. Requiring waaaaaay too much precision is the worst thing a physics game can do.
I LOVE how Deugan (and any other party members present at the time) climb into bed with you after waking you up. Imagine if they did that BEFORE they woke you: "Oh, hey guys. What are you all doing . . . in bed . . . with me?"
the programer of this game is the rhythm-based game equivalent of the asshats that make bullet-hell games best played through closing your eyes and letting muscle memory take you through the level. SERIOUSLY! I've played RBGs for over 15 years, and though i might not be competition-level, i've also studied the drums for nearly 20 years, so I KNOW rhythm and beat. This game, first off, doesn't have ANY type of metronome feature, so when there's absolutely NO drum/bass line to keep you on track, you'd DAMN WELL BETTER have perfect rhythm! there's also no solid way to tell when it's actually time to press the buttons. Guitar Hero, DDR, Rockband. and EVERY OTHER RBG ever made by a professional company has an exact slot where the notes fit over when you're supposed to hit them. This has a vague bar that might or might not fit all of the "note," and won't allow for ANY leeway on even the easy songs! this is THE MOST difficult medium badge on the site.
this. is. CRAP!!!!!!! there is nearly NO correlation between where the signal is and the actual trigger note in the music. Also, it's nearly impossible to see when the commands are actually over the bar!
i think infinity is technically possible, or at least quite approachable; launchers lining the ground and a solid wall of buzz-saws would get you pretty damn close.
