The fights in between castles are very dull. I found myself watching tv, waiting for all of those battles to end.

Just enough options to keep things from getting stale, without being too simple. I applaud your efforts. On a side note, it would be nice if you didn't have to be in front of the creatures for the spells to have an effect.
