The concept isn't bad, but with 8 super easy levels there's no actual gameplay. This is just a ploy to support LGBT, which does NOT make it a good game. (regardless of where you stand on the issue)
It's a narrative driven game, I didn't want to make the gameplay too difficult so that anyone who wants to can beat it. If you want though you can try to beat it under par moves, and eventually I wanna make a mobile version with more content in it :) Anyway thanks for playing!
It feels like luck more than strategy when I manage to pass a level. If you could control each canons direction separately it could be a bit more strategic, but because they are all controlled together there isn't a clear-cut way to solve a level.
Rather than plotting how to angle the balls to go directly over each of the lights, you instead find yourself trying to get them to barely touch the edge of them before moving on... And basically guess for an angle that will work, because any attempt to strategize with one or two canons will most certainly not work with the other two.
This is a great twist on match-3 games of various types. Usually you either have to swap two pieces to match 3 or you just click a group and the whole group disappears. I kind of like how in this one you have to drag across the chain, so it makes you think more about the order in which you move across them.
It would have been more interesting to watch than to play, honestly. It was nicely animated but lacks any substance to the game play. Most of the time you're just searching for the right place to click. You don't have any free-roam in where you can click, which means you also can't make any wrong choices. There are 3 spots that depend on your reflexes to click on time, but other than that you can't lose. It would be a much more interesting game if you added some death scenarios so players have to actually think about where they are clicking.
You should use Google Chrome because this game uses HTML5 and other browsers suck at HTML5 support. It is a bit slow, but that's partially my hardware... And just the fact that HTML5 games are slow in general.
So I know I'm level 44, but I was shocked to see I have 52% of the badges. O.O Kongregate is a big site with lots of badges, so I thought I would be more at the 20% or 30% mark. Thanks so much for this program! (Since it's not really a game) I often found the badge browser on my profile inefficient for looking at overall results, but this makes it so much easier!
