protip for bat: make a small horizontal section at the bottom of the screen, just enough to get you enough bugs to survive, and have a SHITTON of web on it.

Hard, but doable with practice. what everybody else said and don't rate it a 1 just because you suck at platformers. IF YOU CAN'T DO PLATFORMERS, DON'T PLAY THIS >.<

beautiful 0.0 Like chronotron, but with a good story, and a bit cranked up difficulty, with no time paradoxes =) Overall, an improvement on chronotron, especially for people who like a hearty serving of story with their puzzles. Weaknesses:The head-platform is kind of small, this leads to a bit frustrating puzzles. Also the last level is....weird. I just finished it by randomly jumping ^.^ 4/5.

Special Weapons: Excalibur: beat act 19 with first weapon (lightknife) Axia: max out stats to 99 (replay act 18 over and over) The rest: beat loki (BEATING LOKI: Use the Odin ship with the Excalibur weapon and dodge/shoot until "device overdrive" special is charged. Then abuse Odin's invulnerability to get to 200k chain so you score 50%+ bonus to special when invul wears off. Survive until you can fire special a second time. That last special should get you past him. To unlock Odin, beat lv20. To unlock excalibur, beat lv19 with only the first weapon (not as hard as it sounds with upgrades - if you need easy gold, play lv18 over and over). IF THIS HELPED COPY-PASTE AND KEEP IT ALIVE)

Also, I have a pretty good pc and experienced slowdowns, particularly on the later levels (the game seemed to almost double the speed after the "time counter" ran out). In short, make a game that doesn't devour all the system resources.

The song at the end was the best part about the game. Nevertheless, 3/5.

Fun game, but the hard badge is way too easy once you get the hang of it--the limit should be 150... Good test of concentration/multitasking skills, but after a few tries you have to wait until 120 or so for it to actually becomes challenging. Good game overall, nice music; Doesn't do much besides what it offers though. 4/5.

Also, every once in a while, a state has 1 healthy person left. I don't know if it's a big or not, but it happens WAY too often for it to be as common as any other number, and really annoying. vvv

The "operation Iceberg" trophy is impossible to get (except by hacking?), the music is repetitive, there's no speed-up button and any game mode can be won by not doing anything except immunizing all the biggest countries. 1/5.

This game manages to stay on the fine line between open-exploration games with almost no other goals (Knytt, if you've ever played it) and goal-driven side scrollers (mario). Unlike knytt, this game does a better job of keeping the player entertained throughout the game not only by goals and scenery (which gets somewhat stale after a while, but is diverse enough not to be annoying) but also by enemies and certain gameplay elements, such as collecting fairies and trying to kill the enemies after you're supercharged. The whole game is mostly geared toward medium-level players (with obvious hints and locations), that is, unless you go for collecting every mushroom, which is somewhat of a challenge past 125 or so. Overall, this game could have been very boring, but the author managed to just spice it up enough to be an entertaining play and to keep your attention throughout the level--there could have been more gameplay elements though, and a more diverse soundtrack/harder end-boss. 4/5.

This is a game that's both challenging and easy at the same time; that is, it's challenging and a tiny bit frustrating until you figure out that just about the only thing that matters is the number of your units. After that, the game becomes super-easy; you just have to send all your units in the beginning to get as many bubbles as possible, and after that everything is cake. And the mutations don't influence the game much either (unless you jack up reproduction, like i did. In that case, it also becomes much easier than the author probably intended). All in all, another fun little diversion; this is a game that does what it's supposed to do, and does it well. Were it not for the reproduction/strength imbalance (2x reproduction always beat 2x strength), I'd rate this a 5. As it stands, though...4/5.

Quaint little game, this one. Space exploration RPG meets asteroids, with so-so graphics. The real gem of this game is the storyline and the upgrades mechanic---If you beat a certain enemy, you get the upgrade/money that it drops, but you can only fit so many on your ship. Pretty interesting, and the badges are all medium difficulty, and somewhat time consuming (It took me like 2 hours to beat the whole game). Overall, it's a nice little distraction if you're bored for the moment, but there's no replay value and after you play this and get all the badges, you'll probably forget all about this game until the promised sequel, which, judging by this game, should also be recommended to try. Overall, this game is definitely one of the ones you should try if you're bored, but it won't take you long to beat, and don't expect any nail-biting (the action scenes are short and rarely eventful, due to the limited shield/armor capacity of your ship). 4/5.

This game can get very frustrating. While depending on trial and error, it forces the player to perform a variety of pixel-hunting: finding JUST the right position to hurl the grenade. even the smallest movement (one pixel left or right of the desired location) can offset the shot, which becomes very frustrating in the later levels. No idea how to make it less frustrating, but this game, while presenting the old "bowman" concept in a new, original skin, feels somewhat bulky and unyielding, oft forcing the player to depend on sheer luck in finding just the right position to shoot from (while going through dozens of resets) to finish a level. And that was on normal difficulty, too, so I can't even fathom how frustrating elite probably is. All in all, I don't recommend this game unless you really have nothing better to play. 2/5
