Didn't like it, graphics look sort of good, probably because the black siloette over soft color background has been done one too many times and proves an easy resource if you lack the capacity to use actual colors, in the end insisting with this technique comes off kind off pretentious. The character animation sucks, mostly because it behaves like a ragdoll with a fixed torso, the characters collision area is lame and most of him gets into the walls, good thing everything is black so you don't see how crappy that is.
Gameplay itself is dull and slow, barely more than a laberynth sold as platformer, dialogue gives this repetitive noise each line, has no color code and has no interaction.
All in all a 2/5 on account that at least it isn't buggy all around.
For the ones that don't get it, ITS A JOKE! its not a game, how many lame games have you played that had no gameplay other than upgrading senseless stuff? this owns them all.
This is one of those games that are awesome for about 10 minutes an then you never want to play again. It took me about 2 minutes to figure out how to pull 100k combo and one more minute to figure out you can achieve an infinite combo depending on how long you let the game run, being that there is no limit on the amount of weapons you can put, if you cover the floor with springs the turtles will NEVER stop.
Its a fun game and I'm pretty amazed about the number of fast moving object it gets to handle in my crappy computer without making it explode.
If there is a second game under this concept might I advice to introduce limits to the weapons in order to make the player place them setrategically and requiring certain wits from him?
A nice game, some bugs if you screw arround with the fisics, but I realize ridding any fisics library of bugs is virtually imposible 4/5, missing the last point because everything has been seen before. It's well executed and put together though.
I would have expected something at the very least as epic as Prince of Persia II: The Shadow & the Flame
Wich is quite doble in flash, this is just sacrilegious licence exploitation.
To me this game seems highly overdone, the ambience setting insinuates an RPG or action game with certain level of complexity, the gameplay is merely a puzzle game that could be played in a much simpler world without any loss. 2/5
its a great game, the robot seems to lack a turning animation, other than that its flawless, I'll give it a 5/5 and would love to see a second part with more complex puzzles, a looping function and a loop breaker to spice it up
A great game, the level of complexity in the construction of the celle is wonrderfull and the game fun yet hard.
That aside, there are many bugs I hope the creator would fix, if not, give me the code and I'll do it :P.
There is something wrong with speed, when you upgrade your celle usually moves quite slow, but if you save, go to menu and load, the celle moves very fast.
Mutating a hex allows any new hex arround it to choose colors that are not adyacent to it, wich the rules seem to indicate it shouldn't.
It would be cool to have a way to decide wich of the adyacent hex batches takes the bonus from tech hexes, that or they all do.
It would be cool to be able to load the game and start from the area where you saved, so you dont have to run through a lot of areas to reach the one you were in last session.
4/5
It is a cute expression of the concept that death is the only possible outcome.
As for it being a game, the only thing it allows you to interact with is projectiles by either being hit by them or not.
You cannot survive (well you do if the game gets stuck and you cant move, happened to me once) and it is irrelevant weither the family survives you or not.
I wouldnt call it a game, its more like a slightly interactive animation.
on top of that bug about the buy ship stuff, tried to load the game again and now it opens the about screen right after the game loaded and it doesn't allow me to close it, think I'll have to delete temporal files to make it work again
I'm not sure how, but i broke it, the "buy ship" message and the "you are flying this ship" are being displayed simultaneously and the game wont allow me to leave the shop with any ship at all
The game is much fun and addictive, it works fairly well, havent seen any bugs, it could howerver have a few more features, achievements are highly demanded, also, it would be nice to be able to upgrade buildings somehow.
Nice work!
