This is one of the worst beat games I've ever played and I've played many beat games across many platforms.
On a big screen your eyes have to jump all over the place to follow where the notes are coming from (no reasonable way to change it) and the arrow keys are not in a line on the keyboard so it's a bad choice for notes.
Also the songs are way too long, and I find my attention goes elsewhere before the end of the song, making me miss a single note in the end and having to restart the whole long song. Also you can't even feel the rhythm because you don't give any audio results when you hit a note right or wrong... the song just plays on no matter what you press. The accuracy is also poor compare to most beat games. You also did pretty badly at choosing beats that make the player feel like he's playing the song. So much so as I started finding it easy to just use my eyes to time the notes than my ears.
You can get the running a bit earlier than intended. To do this, double jump onto the ledge with spikes on the left end of the section called "Serve no more" from the statue of the ancestor and the dog/you. You get hit but the temporary invulnerability lets you stand on it afterwards and from there you can jump to another ledge directly above you. Then just hop on the next ledge in sight and it's right there.
Very easy puzzle game. I'm a little surprised it's a hard badge, I usually use about half the tools they provide me with for each level and sometimes win when testing the new level.
-_- Stole sounds from Final fantasy. Not to mention same battle system. It's pretty annoying cause I hear them enough in Final Fantasy (not that their bad, the games are just really really long). They also seem totally out of place in your game. I'd mute it but then the voice acting goes away too. I might mention too that the voice acting is some of the worst I've ever heard (sounds like kids being forced to read out a script) but I guess for a flash game bad voice acting is better than none.
Those things aside, it's not that bad a game.
Save is totally glitched, i accidently hit refresh and it seems like it only saved certain things in the game. As a consequence I'm level level 17 with level 30 skills, old gear, quests completed in regions that appear to be unexplored, map guy doesn't want to remake my maps, etc. Really need to check that out.
I pretty much beat the game with just the archer. The range is just too insane and with the ability to move several times per turn, all I had to do was hit and run. You could also do it with the mage as others have suggested but I find the archer easier because you really don't even need to use the knight and king's skills and you can pick off mages while they're still out of range.
Used the scroll wheel after playing for like 10 minutes to read the comments but instead it made my browser go to the previous page... and now I have to restart... I'm taking it out out on your games ratings. >=D
I'm stuck on level 13, i got up to +5 sushi bonus with only one cat, even if he got past the obstacles, i don't think he'd fit in the box... You might want to put some kind of time limit per cat or make him lose weight over time so that this wouldn't happen. Besides that it's a decent game, I give it a 4/5.
Very fun, I gave it a 5/5. It's also good that you made the game require only a little bit of thought to complete as there is enough puzzle games on Kongregate that make you want to pull out your hair.
So so repetitive, seriously. 500 enemies? Seriously, that alone should be worth a hard badge for endurance. 300 on level 7 deserves a medium on its own. Also the description of the last gun and the gun itself are completely different, the last gun is pretty disappointing for its cost.
This game is alright but the 10000 pt badge is ridiculous, boredom kicks in at about 1500 pts, the game is easy, it just loses taste fast and sitting there playing the game when you're bored makes you do stupid things. This is only hard because its a battle of will over boredom.
