Japanese Name: Tetsuya Watarigani

Beyblade(s): Dark Gasher CH120FS

Bio: Tetsuya is the owner of Dark Gasher. He first makes an appearance in episode 05 – The Gasher Of Revenge. He is first seen tending to his crabs, which appear to be his pets, in front of Benkei doing his training. Benkei sets up a challenge for Tetsuya to battle against Ginga. He is a devious blader and uses distraction to cheat in his battles. An example of this is when he tells three bladers to look at the sky whilst he flicks a stone at the opposing Beyblade. After he has defeated his oppoent, Tetsuya always smashes the blade into pieces. He does this to show his power and to take revenge for the day when his own Beyblade got damaged in a battle when he was a kid.

In addition to his tactics of distration, Tetsuya also uses his Crabs to create different battle arena’s. Two arean’s that are seen in episode 05 – The Gasher Of Revenge are, a mud filled arena and an arena that has sets of bubble walls that are hard enough to knock the opposing Beyblade into another direction. Both of these can been seen in his battle against Ginga. He also introduces the change feature on his track to rise above the mud filled stadium. Tetsuya can also be seen as a comic character, due to his bad luck with the mud filled stadium and the way he acts after loosing the battle against Ginga.
