Oh, man.. 2 seconds into the game, my 2D "character" tries to "walk" in a poorly animated fashion across a background with weird perspective, then vanishes. Several seconds later, more characters appear out of nowhere, along with what looks to be a copy-pasted 2D version of kil'jaeden from World of Warcraft, choppily animated at what looks like 10 frames per second. That's as far as I got before rating it 1/5 and leaving.
Exceptionally buggy game.. Prestige says I will gain "-2200" exotic particles. The whole screen is covered in text, making it unplayable. Components gain or lose more power or heat than they say they do when placed in certain ways.. Just stupid.
I saw the intro and thought, "Looks great, I'm in!" Then, I saw the actual game. I quit after playing for less than 10 seconds because it looks that bad. I can't stand this 2D-which-pretends-to-be-sorta-3D crap.
I wanted to throw up about 10 seconds into the intro. Couldn't they at least have ONE decent texture instead of that horribly blurry planet that looks like its from an early '90s game?
I like the game play, but I think it would benefit from a tutorial being obviously available from the start screen. The only other thing SLIGHTLY lacking, I think, its the aesthetics of the interface.
VIP system, money for packs and playing, singles shop, AND an energy system with 2 minutes per energy? Its like they took all the most gougey, hated monetization models and rolled them together! Why should I pay for cards, and THEN pay even more to play and use them? Charged multiple times.. 0/5
"To travel $500" button does not work, despite having over 500 money. White text in bottom right corner is not readable. The text message at the top, showing damage, has poor grammar (and a capital after a comma..). Why is your character running on the spot? Why do you have a dog that does nothing? There's no tooltips explaining what any part of the interface is. The interface explanation at the start goes away before you can read it all. Why is the game titled "weird" -- its not weird.. When the enemy is defeated, it shows a strange "0" where the health bar was. Buttons do not depress when clicked. Unspent skill points are lost forever and not available at the next level. Was this game made by a 10 year old?
Why is there only one sound effect in the entire game? After 5 minutes I'm already sick of the terrible attack sound. This game is worthless. the devs money grab you per battle you want to play and don't even spend it on having more than one sound effect..
This game is garbage.
You cannot choose what your "cards" attack. You cannot choose the targets of any abilities. Your hand only has 3 cards and you must always play 1 card. You cannot skip your turn, play 0 cards, or play 2 cards in any situation. In other words, THERE IS NO CHOICE. THERE IS NO STRATEGY. Just set your game to auto play and go afk..
Give me a 5+ card hand, a 30-60 card deck(not 10), let me choose what the cards attack, let me choose the targets of the abilities, let me choose to not play a card on a turn. LET ME HAVE CHOICE or this is a video and not a game!!
The description says the zombies are "clever" and fight to the end, yet they die to anything easily and suicide themselves by attacking explosives. This game is a buggy disappointment. I fall through the floor, get stuck in elevators, fail because my "friend" gets stuck, etc. Worst game ever.
The fuel system is bad. Do not charge people to play for more than a few minutes. You can limit what they do, but let them play as much as they want in order to get addicted. Then, they will spend money on it. Pay per minute prevents players from getting addicted and hence prevents them from ever becoming paying customers.
The graphics suck. The backgrounds, planets, etc, are all static images; no animation. Combat involves stationary ships; no movement. Thus, the game plays as a slide show. Most people cannot even tell if it is 2D or 3D. The sound effects are silly little beeps and unsatisfying. There is no player driven content, no market, and no interaction with other players. The missions are repetitive. The ONLY content in the entire game is two types of missions: fly somewhere and click once, or kill 1-6 enemies. In summary: limited/repetitive mechanics, static/not animated/boring graphics, unsatisfying/lame sound effects, no player interaction, MMO with no market/trade.
