For the past two days I have received an error message at launch stating an 'update is required to continue playing' How do I get the update? Thanks

Is it just me, or is creating 'tools' blocked? The warehouse shows sufficient components. But a level 5 Work Shop states I don't have any Silver.

The mechanics needs work for new players. Like better explanations of 'mountain ranges', or creating more land should be click & sweep effort. Not click & place. How do you stop 'swamp' from appearing? What do you do with the exclamation in the middle of the screen? There really needs to be a zoom feature & pan via arrow keys.
