I am working on:
1) A system where you dont have to start all over if you run out of time or die.
2) A system where you get some feedback about how you are doing and advice on how to proceed.
I am thinking about:
A system where you can change or upgrade your disk.
Hah, an interesting comparison at least. Hope you enjoyed it! Feeling removed from yourself, your own actions- that is horror. And hopefully I conveyed that to some degree.
Really great puzzle mechanic! Put some polish on it and it could be money. It got pretty hard after the easy ones up front. I feel like if I spend some more time in it I could get good at figuring them out. Stars Up! One of my favorite new Unity games (other than mine)
Love the drawing style. I feel like the shooting isn't responsive enough. My guess is it has to be that way so you can't crazy shoot everything. Thanks for the game. Stars up!
Thanks Joe (and everyone else) for the feedback. I'm still tweaking the gameplay mechanics and I know exactly what you mean about the shooting responsiveness (look for just such a tweak in the next version). Saucer Tweaks and sound effects are in the pipe as well. One of my partners in crime is working on some new sprites so be on the look out for being able to toggle between the hand drawn "classic" mode as well as a new art style.
Every time I fall off I get a little adrenalin rush and I yell "Ohh Noooo" in my head. That has to mean its good. With a little polish this would make a fun accelerometer iPhone Game.
I have been playing through the Unity Newest games. This is my favorite (other than mine) so far. I feel like you put something really good together. Put in Kongregate High Scores for extra awesome.
Those doors were more trouble than you probably realise...:)
