Great game, short but sweet. I just have a suggestion though--do you think you could change the jump button to the w key? I'm not sure if this is true for people other then me but w is commonly used for jump other then space.
I'm about to release a small update where that will be included, as well as the up arrow. Personally, I'm more used to space being the jump button and it just never crossed my mind that some people are more used to using E or up. Honestly, I find it really awkward not using space so I can see how it'd be equally weird for someone like you to not be able to use the E key. Thanks for pointing this out.
This game is great, although it's pretty difficult if you haven't got the hand of it. TIP - If you're having trouble facing multiple enemies, just remember that the direction they're aiming in doesn't affect the bullets. You can use this to your advantage by moving left and when they shoot move right.
