to everyone coming in for BOTD today, in addition to the important comments below about how today's BOTD is literally impossible without a ton of microtransactions, do remember to rate the game honestly. it's still higher than it deserves in my honest opinion.
Once you get past the 900 mark on Hard it's just a matter of RNG, because I've had the game flip me, despawn and spawn in objects in the middle of tunnels, and turned corners to find moving squares moved so that there's only the tiniest gap with minimal chance of squeezing through.
It still has some issues (and I wish the hard badge had colours too so I didn't spend half an hour trying to obtain it because I forgot I already got it), but all in all, it still holds up pretty dang well.
Would honestly love to see this game remade or updated properly so it worked better, because I absolutely love the concept behind it.
After my 5th rebirth, the money system is broken. I can earn anywhere between 100K to 300K, and then suddenly it just jumps to 9K. The game heavily encourages you to do the rebirth like most idle "prestige" systems, but makes it extremely difficult to progress after rebirths at random.
1709, but I agree with Selva on the score. Especially as it also counts down during the merging, where you can't do anything until the merging is completed.
Nice game, though.
Extremely slow, super pushy, takes forever, so many "microtransactions" that there's nothing micro about them.
With an "easy" badge that will take you far more than a day to unlock.
When flash died, so did most quality on Kongregate, who has never heard of quality control.
43 minutes, 2 seconds. Did look up a walkthrough for the colour puzzle, however. This game was very challenging, and I'm almost tempted to rate it angrily, but it's -meant- to be challenging and it was genuinely really well made. And it threw some curveballs here and there, which made it so much more rewarding to beat.
Definitely deserves to be on the Best of 2019 badge list.
ChichumungaIII put it pretty perfectly.
I was not too familiar with the four color theorem, so this game took a hot second to understand. But after spending a really pleasant time playing through it, I gotta say I really enjoyed this game.
It's a delightful little brain tickler, and I can see why it's on the "Best of 2019 Badges" list.
It's a cute and interesting game, but the sacrifice points tends to break and just leave you without the choice. Keep having to restart most levels because the choice menu vanishes within a second of reaching a point.
I love the idea of the game, but the execution isn't quite what I wish because this game lags out, glitches heavily (especially on hard), and whoops you went through and invisible wall and hit a cylinder wall from the outside.
Still, reminds me a lot of a few mobiles games I used to play years ago, with the hectic twisting and turning and dodging.
It's a fun little side-scroller shoot 'em up in the beginning, but the hitboxes are really bad for a "bullet hell" game, and the level transitions are way too drawn out. Boss battle felt too long, especially since there's no indication of how damaged it is.
