If Golem Cursed and Vampire Reaper isn't cutting the mustard, try the Kitilid Magus. You get permanent access to Swarm and Ignite. Boost straight willpower till you hit level 10, picking up gear with willpower/intelligence boosts, Heal, and Freezing Wind, a skill that will give you a spammable cone AOE to deal with the firebreathers on higher levels. The first few floors, just hope for some solid equipment, kiting tougher enemies with Swarm until you have enough willpower to drop Ignite fast enough. Remember to always kite towards areas you've already cleared! Enemies to look out for are the spheres, who will wreck you if you don't have any lightning resistance, swarms of ANYTHING at lower levels, and the ice statues that charge you at higher levels, which you should promptly Ignite spam on.
Easily won of the best RPGs on the site. A pleasant mix of turn-based combat, beautiful art, and Dio Brando. 4/5 because the game is fantastic, it'll change to 5/5 if combat and shopping gain keyboard controls.
