Your game works, sir, and the blocks are not slippery. That is something I really hate in other games, landing on the block and then sliding off. The jumping on the first screen was a bit generous, as I would describe it more as "flying" than "jumping". But perhaps being too generous is a fault we all could afford. P:D Keep plugging!
Ummm... yeah. This is a game. You hit the space bar to win. You get a score. Awesome. Go find Steve Jobs and ask for some money to develop it even more.
I gave this five stars from the moment I played it! Very good memories of playing the original at the arcade. I agree with abyssoft that the upgrades are kind of on the short side, and the insta-death problem is kinda irritating, yeah. One other shortcoming is the tendency to get stuck in one spot on the edges, rather than rolling smoothly through. It's not so bad on the sides, but you need it on the bottom hella bad. Great game though, shows a lot of love.
thank for the support. Your criticisms are very valid too: I was kinda aware of all those problems when I was making it but it was hard to find the right balance for everything when I had already put so much effort into getting it off the ground....maybe I'll do a sequel one day and try to sort it out properly :)
Reminds me a lot of Siftheads, which I like. I don't generally like gallery shooters, but this is fairly cool. Ads screw up a lot of the missions though. Overall pretty good!
Excellent game! I could use a few more power-ups, and the ability to start at a higher board, but everybody wants that in one game or another! Good luck with the paid version, but I'll probably end up sticking with free. See ya!
Really enjoyed the game! Looking forward to a sequel in which you can drop stuff in the mineshafts after making all your upgrades. (Auto-borer, stuff like that.)
thank you i think? lol
