Yeah, i basically released this with "Developer" controls in mind. Mouse controls are coming back in the next update, as well as extended keyboard controls. As far as using the arrow keys: The left hand side of the keyboard is pretty much taken up in the dev version. 1-6,q-y,a-h, and z-b all technically have functions mapped to them. So, in the grand scheme, even if I added alternate keys to the arrows, they would still end up being right hand keys.
One of these patches, they'll actually get bows. But not until they've earned them.
[Edit] Archers have finally proved their worth and earned themselves bows!
Very fun game, quite addicting.
I'd like to see some kind of visual indicator as to which creature is generating the most power per second, maybe some kind of skull/crown on the left of their name.
Very fun game, and I'm happy to see these dev comments and updates, solid work. One thing I noticed, after gold is useless there's no reason to call the next wave early as your spells son't cooldown faster with it. It's a small issue really, and everything else is great. 4/5.... but close to 5/5
Many thanks, ThePope1! I suppose after the player upgrades all of his/her equipment at the Blacksmith, I should just remove the early wave timer completely! Would make things flow a bit better. Thanks for the suggestion and I'm glad you enjoyed the game!
Some way to refund your upgrades would be nice. I personally like to try different strategies in this kind of game, and it seems I have to keep my choices no matter what.
