***SPOILER***
So the Destroyer left without saying anything. Might we see Godcat vs. the Destroyer as the plot of EBF5? I could be misinterpreting the duality of Godcat, however, if they are supposed to be two parts of the same being.
I found that the difference aspect played into a story as I solved the levels. As I clicked around I kept wondering "Am I putting this room into a greater or lesser state of disrepair? Am I making it more or less cluttered? More or less ominous? Are those eyes staring at me going to fill in or go away?" It was wonderful!
For the hard campaign, I'm having the more success building my castle up to 100 than trying to attack the opponent. It was nearly impossible to get by their walls and accumulate enough resources to attack with them killing off all my suppliers, but with a little patience and a reasonable start I'm definitely having better odds to win this way.
Fun game, but the controls are really bad. wasd, qe to switch weapons in fine, but unless you sprout extra fingers it's incredibly awkward to do stuff like angle your jumps in bullet time or dash at all.
