Gravity increases in small amounts (~10% per upgrade), so if the upgrade cost is rather high (>1/10 of total meta-energy), then you will have a net loss from it.
I like your game a lot but did you give credit to Reactor Incremental creator Cael? This is clearly inspired by it. Or do you both work together on this?
Would appreciate it if we could sell power from any screen. Lots of back and forth to read upgrades while power maxes quick at least early in the game.
Give an option to replace the scientific notation system with the standard K,M,B denominations. Most people have a harder time distinguishing scientific numbers when they are small (ie. 1.500e5 is much harder to understand than 150,000 or even simpler 150K). I assume numbers get too large late game so give the player the option to turn on scientific notation for very large numbers.
Great little game! My only complaint is that is feels a bit too short and you should include some boss encounters. Perhaps similar to the moving platform levels where you have to escape incoming lava or tidal wave or monster to keep players on their toes.
Improved Piping upgrade should be more clear what it means. Venting heat manually 10x, you'd think that it would increase the strength of heat vents but it does not seem to.
So I finished the Old Castle and got 200 sexdecillion gold. I was previously stuck at nonillion rituals, but with the gold I bought all the rituals, bosses, and have 1800-2000 of all minions. Now what? lol
Here's what I know about the campaign so far:
1) New artifact reduces their health. Get before starting.
2) Health totals saves after a reset. For this reason, you can keep hitting the highest level keep.
3) When you defeat a keep on the map, you get a gold bonus. You cannot revisit it again even with New Game+
4) My strategy right now is to just keep hitting the Old Castle and buying 900-1000 minions. Rinse and repeat until I can't hit for much anymore.
5) Oh and if you haven't figured it out, your boss attacks the keep. Once it attacks, all the minions under that boss are slain. You have to rebuy.
Things I'm still figuring out:
-How the damage dealt is calculated
-If it's even worth the rewards that it would take to destroy the Old Castle (haven't done the math).
I got a weird bug where after I reset the game, I couldn't access the "Library". When I closed the window and re-opened the game, the Library worked but random Rituals from my last game were already purchased. I'm not sure if their bonuses have been added or not.
I find the "Smash" a bit frustrating to use. The icon blinks so I click immediately and I still get more misses than I get hits. Either make it so we can upgrade the amount of critters on the ground or make it so that "Smash" is more intuitive. There is absolutely no way I can know to "Smash" a critter that I can't see.
Excellent puzzler. I hope to see an expansion on this idea. It's a rare occasion to find a puzzler challenging, yet feel very rewarding when you solve it. Props to you!
