give sorcerers mainly to wizard, unless you have a couple of archers with someone else. give melee mostly to horse guy, because he attacks slow, give archers to sword and shield guy, because he gets shredded by ranged enemies
on the levels where it seems you cannot break the enemy line: build several tanks with worst body and wheels, but with either the long gun or the plasma one. have them camp at your most forward base. then build a tank or two with best everything and the flamethrower to block for the weak ones. keep pumping these and charge.
finally got 6432 and badge... i was so lucky, didnt have any windows at all.
i find it is best to maintain a medium speed by intentionally hitting small debris
