Anyone else having a hard time seeing the Ascension upgrades? All I can see is a small box at the bottom of the Ascension window with half of a scroll slider. And when I can find an upgrade option it doesn't seem like it works at all.
Attack controls aren't really intuitive. The tutorial tells us to attack we push the A button then the direction button, where the actual gameplay requires you to pick direction (up, right, or down) then push attack (A button). If you don't the character automatically does a middle attack (same as holding right & pushing A button).
I do find it odd that we don't have three separate attack buttons; E.G. A button for high attack, S button for middle, and D button for low attack. that make much more sense than this business of picking and holding a direction button and then selecting attack.
The bug also applies to AUTO-COLLECT, which ever generator level hits it's limit first is collected but resources for other levels are lost and the progress reset
GLITCH - when you click COLLECT on a generator level you recover the resources of the current generator, but the resources of the other levels are lost and their progress is reset
BotD alternate tip: it's not immediately apparent, but from the weapon screen you can select BACK and choose earlier levels to replay. So if you don't want to advance through the levels just repeat a previous level for the antidote count.
I'm disappointed that whatever the specific problem is that creates two "columns" of background graphics on the left and right of the screen which cover up part of the image is still unchanged. Many people commented on the issue when the game first went up on Armor Games (over a year ago).
Are the PERKS not supposed to be permanent? I forgot to apply them before doing the first Dark Ritual, and on this second go around I start applying as soon as I can but they don't seem to stick. Now I've done a secone Dark Ritual (made sure to use up Dark Mana on as many perks as possible) and still the perks revert to 0.
I give up, I can only punch the windshield even though your character is clearly shown holding a pistol. And this game feels like too much of a slog to want to spend multiple runs waiting for a gun to finally be usable.
A couple tips that I've noticed so far (just started playing)
-- the game tells us that special weapons do not affect bosses. HOWEVER the RAIN OF ROCKETS special attack does damage bosses.
-- The money you gain from a level does not appear to be affected by the difficulty you choose. IE Play a level on HARD to get all the stars from a given level, but if you need to farm money then play the same level on EASY the money earned (assuming you're trying to collect everything) appears to be the same.
