Ugh. Interesting concept, but by level 8 it turned too much platforming, too little puzzle. And by level 10 I just said forget it, I'm not going to continue. A shame, I kind of liked it until then (I still would have preferred it if it was a true puzzler though, without the platforming elements).
The hard modes should have been optional. That time limit is just way too tight leaving no room for error whatsoever. And even if you beat the level with no mistakes, for many of them it's still not possible to beat it within the time limit if you picked the wrong upgrades.
@killrhawk. That's the thing, the people complaining aren't building tanky, they're just building sword. If you go the sword route, even if you put everything into strength and got the best sword in the game, the monsters are still going to take roughly 10 hits to kill. Which is a bit much, I agree. If daggers kill them in 3 hits, then I guess it's just that swords suck or daggers are op.
Ugh, a single player game that's not only unbalanced but also requires a huge amount of grind? What a terrible design decision. It would be a 4/5 without the grind, but with the grind I really can't give it more than 1/5. I play games to have fun, not to be frustrated that I picked the wrong class and have to level another one just to beat mission 14.
So, was there an update to the game or something? All my achievements are gone! (and I only needed one to unlock the last bonus level...). And no, I did not delete any temporary internet files. I didn't even close my browser since the last time I played this game.
@Munroe. I thought the same thing, it's way too grindy. But the game can be completed with only one duck, so at least you won't have to train a second one.
@marcelo_1643 I found the level "What's With The Bunnies?" to be the easiest for the badge. It's slow enough to allow you to fill out the board, and long enough to give you 500 points if you do so. I found that the earlier levels didn't give enough points, and the last level was too chaotic to get enough points and survive at the same time.
That was weird. There's really no explanation whatsoever on what to do. I still completed it my first try, but I just kept shooting, picking up coins, collecting every upgrade I could afford without knowing what it was.
Also, I never figured out if it was a good thing or a bad thing to go into those guys with a space ship so you take theirs instead of your own. Or buy a new space ship. Didn't notice any difference from doing that.
tsukinomai: That's the thing, I'm not a good farm, I give absolutely 0 resources to anyone. Yet I'm completely razed every single time I log on. I just want to move on, and the way it is now is just stupid.
@tsukinomai: You get 24 hour protection when you are attacked, so this wouldn't make it easier to farm a person. It just means that this person wouldn't lose several hours of progress just because the attack happened when he was offline.
The repairs should start the moment you are attacked, not when you log on. It's impossible for me to gain any resources since my buildings are all broken every single time I log on.
The only thing I don't like is the last boss. It's just too random, and if you get two laser stages you might as well restart if you want to beat it without dying :(
God I hate games with badges where other people can actively prevent you from getting your badges. One attack on me and it will take me one more day to get my badge :/
