Woah, the game just bugged after level 21, and I couldn't use any ship at all nor buy any of them (You need N/A gold). So I quit the game, reloaded, and now I can't play at all because an un-closable About screen blocks the view.
I use Google Chrome as my browser... But it doesn't work with Safari and Firefox neither! :P
You need a better sky color, ennemies, and a new design for the main character... Not bad, you've got the basics, but the graphics just hurt the eyes...
@ThePurplePig On the first, you said that not enough things happen, now we have different zones, new characters and a stats system and you think it's worse?
I would like to see what you can do with a complete game (Hopefully with better graphics) so I'll give you a 3/5 for now. You might want to check the moving platform, because you go through sometimes...
I agree with lost: It needs better graphics and a nicer hit detection. Also, the ''wasd'' support may be not the best way to control: At least jumping with space would have a better feeling...
Oh, wait, it does go fast at ''hard'' difficulty! But I then noticed graphic flickering, I don't know if you can work on that... (Sorry for double post)

Oh, and also change your lose screen. ''Oh poor little snake... You're dead'' is illogical if you just touch the ground...

Now, all it needs to be really rockin' is an easy (2 lives) /normal (1 life)/extreme (Lots of bars).
Also, maybe a more speedy music would add to the experiance...

Well, you should really make the game hard faster...
In fact, you should make everything go faster: Your shape, the "enemies"... Your game could have the potential to win this, as the games in the contest are pretty low-tier, but it needs to be faster (And have an easier mode with an extra life)
