Unfortunately, the + is only worth 1 star, no matter how many shots below par you end up at. 2-11 can be done in only three shots, but I only got one extra star for my trouble. This is the list of levels I've finished with a +: 1-2, 1-3, 1-6, 1-8, 1-9, 1-10, 1-12, 2-1, 2-3, 2-4, 2-9, 2-11, 2-13. One of the tricks is to bounce the ball off the wood block so that it destroys the block in one shot instead of two. Other than that, most of the tricks involve hitting two blocks at the same time or directly after one another.
A well made and solid game. However, the levels were a bit short and could have been combined. I found that there were too many health pickups and I didn't really find a need to upgrade health. Unfortunately, I was restricted in my upgrade path since the highest upgrade level is limited to three levels above the lowest one. The bosses were easy, and the only one I had trouble with was the third one, but that was because it caught me off guard and crushed me against the walls.
If anything, the badges on this game are much more reasonable than the ones on HoG and Caesary. Upgrading all 45 structures takes a much shorter time than you would think, especially if you choose a Speed server and/or get into a decent alliance. If you're going for badges and you didn't, it's your own fault, not that of the devs. Regardless, badging these types of games always leads to trouble on the sides of both the badge hunters and the regular players. The poor developers just get caught in the cross fire.
When you start, don't spend any gold except on the quest where it tells you to buy something from the item mall. Go buy a single goat when it tells you that. With enough quests done, you should have exactly 50 gold, enough to get a 7 day builder. Don't make the mistake of going for the 30 gold builder.
I've pretty much stopped playing this game. It's been nearly a year since I've started playing too. Hah, I've been practically knocked off the top 25 for quests done as well.
It isn't 4428 days. It's measured in minutes. Right now, I have 109925 for my score. Divide that by 60 and divide again by 24 to get the days. I get ~76.34 days, which is about 2.5 months.
Thanks Ark, but I think that we're the only two who actually reached the point where the year jumped to negative. Now I'll have to regain those lost days.
However, I noticed that the new Kong chat system broke the name and rank appearing in the sidebar.
That would be more believable if you actually WERE ON the high score list.
It took me about half a year to reach 1 million.
And seriously, don't complain about the new chat. My save files are perfectly fine.
Not only the ones above Joe and Yombo, there are some with numbers that are practically too good to be true, such as pyro's 1999999 and pigs' 1111111.
Those are harder to tell as one could have paused the game at those numbers.
