Darkness ….. complete .. and utter .. darkness. It consumes the camera as our scene comes to life. As you look on .. you begin to question whether or not anything’s happening .. and as you ponder the rational possibilities .. you begin to question your own sanity. You question it .. and you question it .. until finally ..

The voice of reason .. a familiar voice .. speaks to you. You hear the voice and it draws you in .. draws you closer and closer .. until you’re hooked .. you want more. Your prayer goes answered ..

Darkness .. something most people fear .. it appears thick with the absence of everything known to man. Most people .. when the lights go out .. their heart begins to race .. their pulse steadily increases .. their breathing escalates .. they begin to sweat. But what is it about darkness that makes us uneasy? Why is it we fear darkness? ..

Most of us fear darkness because we can’t see what’s in front of us .. but while those of us fear darkness .. others thrive in it .. they live their lives in the shadows leaves us again .. but soon after .. the sound of a match being lit can be heard. Moments later .. a bright candle-lit lantern comes into the picture. The man holding it turns around and then we see the and speaks .. It’s about damn time .. sounds like a good idea to me.
