I think it would be a good idea that when a skill is maxed out, it's moved to the back of the appropriate upgrade screen, so that end-game, all of the upgrades that are available to you are on the first screen of each section.
This game makes it feel like the player's input has no real effect on your progress. It's pretty much impossible to beat a level until you've acquired all of the upgrades, and it's almost impossible to not beat the level once you do. You're just buying upgrades to make more money so you can buy all the upgrades so you can beat the level, and no level of strategy or skill allows you to beat the level any faster. It just feels kinda pointless.
This game just feels like a waste of time. You pretty much just press the acceleration button until you stop, spend your money, and repeat. I never felt like anything I did in the game helped me reach my goal. You pretty much have to be fully upgraded to reach the end of the level and then repeat for the next vehicle.
Kind of curious whether or not the Devs even play-tested their game. The control scheme itself is incredibly clunky, and even when used properly, the bots only follow your orders 60% of the time. Could be a fun game, but it's a 1/5 at the moment for the apparent lack of effort put into making the game playable.
The pacing of the game is frustratingly slow. I never found myself challenged, other than my patience, and there are a few sections with huge gaps between save points. It's an interesting concept, but I feel like it needs to be made more challenging from a strategy standpoint, rather than "Oh, I missed my jump, now I need to wait 30 seconds for the block mosey back over here".
Great game, but it seems that the "Inception" Medal is bugged for me. The maximum time it will show me getting is 102 Seconds, with my max being 110, even though i'm timing myself and dying well over 140 seconds into the game. The "Friend To Nature" medal may also be bugged, unless a new animal is unlocked after the "Inception" medal is unlocked, in which case that would be the reason I've not achieved it.
I think your computer is just lagging. The game runs at 30fps, and counts 30 frames as a second. Sorry, it's kind of graphics intensive with the 6-7 layers of parallax. Is hardware acceleration enabled?
I really liked the original, but this one seems too easy. Perhaps in the next installment, don't allow extra bombs to be purchased (unless it's multiple explosions is an upgrade). It pretty much just made it so that if you're willing to spend enough coins, you literally can't lose.
The amount of times I've gotten stuck is kind of ridiculous. It's happened 4 times on the last level in 4 different places. I find it hard to believe that this bug wasn't ran into during playtesting. It's a decent game, but this bug that forces me to refresh my brower is too frustrating to deal with. 2/5
This was a pretty enjoyable game, but there are a few changes that I think would be beneficial.
1. You shouldn't stick to walls unless you're actively pressing yourself against the wall.
2. You level incredibly slowly after level 8.
3. You can still put points into a skill after you've maxed it, basically wasting points.
4. Save points are sometimes placed in the way of danger so you immediately die after spawning.
5. The sequence after the boss fight where you smack the thief into oblivion, it prompts you to press A, even if your using the arrow keys to attack.
pretty easy game. To get the hard one though, what i did was buy the artillary, nail upgrade, and water blob upgrade. snipers are a waste of money and you dont need the flame upgrade because you can kill them with the artillry. I got it on exactly 11 days using this method. Buy all of the weapon upgrades i mentioned first then spend all of your money on repairing the ship.
This is a good game, i don't care what anyone says. Sure the graphics aren't as good as World of Warcraft but in my opinion there is one hell of alot more to do in Runescape than WoW. There is a virtually endless amount of things to acomplish and once you've done everything, guess what, they make more.
