to answer Skullkid's question, this is because your internet is a bit slow and with all the balls at once (I'm assuming this happens when heaps of balls are on the screen) the internet lags, and temporarily freezes. It happens to many people, and the slower your internet is, the more it will happen.
Also it is a great game.
