Worse than the first in far too many ways. Having to replay levels for points is annoying. When it lost focus, the autopause wouldn't go away so I lost the level.
I clicked New Game by accident, chose my save, and when I realized it was a new game immediately reloaded the page. Alas, the save was already deleted. No confirmation on starting a new game on an active save means I will never finish this game.
@KungFuMaster, Not all programs/games use that system. If this game is asking the keyboard what is currently pressed, it won't know what order they happened in, and may completely miss key presses.
It's a nice idle game. Only complaint so far has to do with some weird behavior when switching modes, like rest pausing, but not continuing when you're back to idle. And one suggestion: when you kill a monster, if it's the current quest target (even if you aren't 'questing') it should count toward quest progress.
It seems random when zombies grab you, and that's made worse when they're playing a stagger animation, but suddenly grab you. It makes avoiding being grabbed hard if not impossible.
It's a interesting idea, and a decent execution. With more expansion on the gameplay, this could be a great game.
However, I did have a case where I had "Not left-handed" for the killer, and lost when the killer was left-handed.
On the start of level 12, I clicked to start the infection, but the round ended before the first zombies from those hit spawned in, causing me to lose the game.
A lot of my text is very small for some reason.
I had several shots miss for no reason on level 6, causing me to fail once. After getting the best upgrades I was unable to actually hit anything as well.
The game itself isn't too bad, but it's nothing new. The big thing that annoys me about this game, however, is that there's a timer on the destruction. On level 14, I can reliable get the tower collapsing away from the building I have to avoid, but the timer always runs out too early. Why is there even a timer there!?
It was pretty good, although I had a bug when the Shields II upgrade is available. I purchased it, but didn't receive it, nor got charged for it. It was gone from the store forever, so I was left having to armor tank everything, but it turned out well anyway.
After about level 12, the game got really really easy for me. From that point on, I ran into about 20 traps total, and I wasn't even looking (not that I could, got stuck with detect +3). And those I did run into, I dodged nearly every time - losing only 2 health until I beat it.
I like the game, but there seems to be a bug that causes my attack cards to randomly do nothing. Doesn't take away their invulnerability, doesn't provoke a counter-attack from their creature, nothing. This can often be a devastating bug.
Good game, better than the first.
One bug, though. I drew a laser, and it complained that it was too big, but when I continued, I no longer had any lasers, and couldn't redraw the laser.
