I found it was easier to get the BotD by going after difficulty 3-5 songs, instead of focusing on the level 2 difficulty songs. I spent about 45 minutes trying to earn the BotD on level 2 songs, and the highest # of clear keys I got was 2 - even when I got a few 90%+ scores. I switched to a level 3 or 4 difficulty song and earned the BotD within 10 minutes, even though my score was only about 70%, or maybe a little lower. Hope this helps other BotD seekers, or just plain badge seekers!
Ok, forget my earlier rant. While thr controls are a little sluggish, it seems my horrendous responsiveness I was having before may have something to do with my disability (BTW, I did get the badge earlier, despite my rant). Anyways, my hands are sometimes shaky & the left is partially paralyzed. After more analysis, I was playing with 2 hands before, which resulted in horrendous responsiveness. When I play with just 1 hand, the worst I could say is the controls feel a little sluggish to me, but not the horrible experience I was having before. I'm guessing my left hand while I was playing 2-handed was hitting something else on the keyboard and causing the problems. I've rarely hit this problem before, and usually spot it very quickly. I even tested that theory earlier (or so I thought, still using 2 hands) and the problem was still there. My apologies for the rant, and thanks to the several of you that offered constructive criticism.

This game HAS THE WORST GAME CONTROL RESPONSIVENESS that I have EVER ENCOUNTERED or played in over 4 years on Kongregate. Controls for the paddle are horribly messed up. Sometimes the paddle does not move no matter how hard you mash on the left or right arrow key. And the other times, the paddle takes 1/2-1 second before it responds to the arrow control you hit. I try to complete all the "Badge of the Day" game tasks, so I usually expect an interesting and virtually bug-free game. But with the totally unresponsive or laggy controls of this game, it's a wonder it's rating is not 0.5. Perhaps it worked well on older, slower computers when it was released 7 years ago. But that is nowhere near the case now. To be blunt & yet perfectly honest, THERE IS NO WAY THIS GAME AND ANY ACHIEVEMENT ATTACHED TO IT SHOULD EVER HAVE BEEN MADE THE "BADGE OF THE DAY" GAME ACHIEVEMENT.
Can't do stage 27. What a waste of time it was going after this badge. It's also discrimination against people with disabilities. I cannot make my hand work fast enough to get more than 1 hit of the dot in the small teal square in the upper left hand corner of the scores due to my disability (Ankylosing Spondylitus). I do not recall ever hittting this problem before while going after a badge of the day. Not good, Kong!
I forgot to mention that at level 11, there was already a button to buy diamonds for kreds, a shop with 4 pages of items on it to spend those diamonds on, cooldowns that could be negated by spending diamonds, and even a quest with nice rewards where the objective is to buy VIP 1. Nice looking game, but I should have just stayed away when I saw R2. Always looking for money somewhere in the game and never too far from the start.
Still R2, so still P2W. I see PVP on all sorts of items & heroes, even though PVP hasn't been mentioned yet while playing (only lvl 11). But I can see it coming and it reeks of R2 usual.
I forgot to mention that the entry requirements for some of the fisheries, in particular the "number of friends" playing, also should be reduced. If the game gets going, then you can think of raising them since players will be able to get enough friends then. For example, the current big fish of the day can only be caught in the Amazon, which requires the player to be lvl 17 (no prob there) & have 40 friends playing. FORTY friends!?! No way for a game this young! And to put some emphasis on my point, not a single "big fish of the day" has been caught so far! For any fish in easily accessible fisheries, you'd already have at least 20 different players with catches so far! So please, look at the fishery entry requirements for friends while addressing the cist of the equipment. Thanks for listening and keep going in the right direction!
Kudos for fixing the kreds needed to get a specific amount of bank notes and making them reasonable! Now if you can do the same for the equipment that can be bought (lowering the prices), this game will be very worthwhile! Keep up the good work so far :)
I am an avid fisherman & I was very impressed with this game when it first came out. I immediately marked it as a favorite & gave it a good rating. Now that it has been relaunched as a primarily pay to play game, I'm extremely disappointed. I've reduced my rating and will only play this game until I hit the point that I need to pay real cash to advance any further. That does not look like it will take very long to reach that point. When I need to pay cash to play any further, I will simply stop playing and not pick it back up again.
It was a horrible decision to go the pay to play route, especially for a fishing game. I'll spend my money on real fishing gear as opposed to a fishing game. Because of the pay to play decision & the fact this is a fishing game, I doubt it will become very popular or make you much money. What a shame, but best of luck to you.
Very buggy on Firefox. Full screen kept auto-shutting down for no apparent reason. Likewise, my character would constantly get locked up so I had to refresh the game to try playing again. Lockups may have something to do with constantly being thrown out of fullscreen mode. Looks fun, but unplayable for now.

For the 7th mission (PLANES), wait until the main target has walked down the airplane ramp, passed the guard, and has started walking on the tarmac. Now kill the guard. After the guard is dead, kill the main target before he gets in the car. And you PASS the mission! If you shoot the main target as he leaves the plane door, but before he goes down the ramp & passes the guard (like I did for 30 min), the mission will FAIL. Despite the fact that the guard can't see the main target get killed. Go figure.
For the last mission, you have to purchase the rifle that uses the .338 ammunition & purchase some .338 ammo. If you do not have enough money to do this, press the home key, select the "Input Level Code", enter "BOMBER" in the text field, and select "Confirm" next to the text field. This will take you to the start of mission 9 with $37,000 (so you can buy the needed gun & ammo). The during the mission, shoot the electric box, bottles, & the tree. If you are using the right gun & ammo, the electric box will break as soon as you hit it & people will start moving around. Likewise when you shoot the other 2 objects. Good luck!
If you are trying to get a blue card for the Badge of the Day, the easiest way is to go through the tutorial (Open Deck, Browse 1st, then Buy Cards). It is possible to get a blue card when you buy a $500 pack during the tutorial - And then Badge Earned!!! If you don't get a Blue Card when you look through the 4 cards you got in the tutorial Booster Pack, just restart the game and repeat until you get a Blue card from the $500 booster pack. I may have just been lucky, but I earned the Badge of the Day (Easy badge) in less than 1 minute. Good Luck and hit "+" if this helped you out!
Very buggy. In the weapons prize mode, selected the first family member Shadow and gave him the 20 action pt Jackhammer. Tried to move 1 of his 2 baseball bats to the empty available weapons at the bottom of the screen. Nothing happened. In nexxt fight, Shadow had changed to a guy wearing French Foreign Legion hat, & wife-beater t-shirt. Couldn't show/select any weapon for him. After selecting another family member & going back to Shadow, the last family member's weapons displayed. Couldn't use any weapon, except eventually found slot 3 threw a grease can (which was a weapon he had, but it was not pictured in the weapon row). Needless to say he was basically useless. After winning the fight with 1 survivor, & going to Family members screen, still couldn't see Shadow's weapons. Low & behold though, there was a baseball bat in the first slot of the first two pages of available weapons. Couldn't move those baseball bats to any family member. Quit & reported bug.
Really buggy version of a stolen game. So buggy the game becomes unplayable. I'm sitting on 1st level after having died on a lower level. Goblins from the level I died on appear on the 1st level of the new game, BUT the char can't hit them or be hit by them. Since he can't kill any 4 goblins required to advance to 2nd level, the char is stuck on 1st level now. No sense in reporting bugs - since game is stolen the bugs will never be fixed. 1/5 for THIS stolen, unplayable version of the game.
