- Sc cost for gear upgrade is also beyond logical. I dont understand how this was making any sense. A new player going up from lvl 1 to 60 in 5-6 months, will still be stuck with his gear having at best lvl 40. Having something like a secondary gear set of same element is out of the question. It used to cost 18mil sc to level one item from 1 to 60. The price has gone up about 1200%. Now you would need over 200million sc to level a single item 1 to 60. Daily income is maximum 5mill/day for those who spend hours daily to try to beat lost island, and possibly exchange a lot additionally. So there you have it - 400 days of play at very high activity level to level one single item to 60. 4 sets of gear = 20 items = 8000 days.
Again i dont trust any developing company to make such a mistake on purpose. And the only explanation is .. Spicy get your stray digits in line. There is still one zero too much on the upgrade cost.
I dont think the blood mines are separated. The updates have scared off all veterans to the degree of quitting, so you dont find them there atm.
Spicy has made few quite bad calls with that patch:
- without any prior notification many demons lost their skill capability. People never leveled Enki or Nabi skills and now they miss all the time. For someone at lvl 60 fixing that issue would take MONTHS, because now you got to level your skill up to your level or even enemy level to hit reliably. While this isnt bad per se, its beyond comprehention how devs could smack their players with smth like this out of the blue. All endgame players are stuck with not working skills for weeks, it could have been easily avoided with just .. announcing what is coming ahead.
- reducing auto battle speed for regular players. Sorry but why would you want a really slow game become even slower? Its not just the paying customers you want to keep in a friendly mood.
How did the request about few more characters to the chat go? Currently its 30, too short even for smalltalk imho. There are german words longer than that! After the server merge many conversations happen. Painfully cut ones. There have to be options to improve the chat system. Change fonts, use the plentiful space to make it wider. I may be out of my element here, but somehow i feel that restricting communication options is not the way to support community growth. Try asking around ingame what people think of the chat right now if you wont take my word for it ;-)
They said they would do it, however both web and mobile need to match, so it has to happen to both at the same time, and patching mobile takes longer, so web is still going to have to wait :(
You could inversely argue that the older server may have already lost some of the stronger players due to the length of time it's been active. Let's see :)
The chat system is honest to god trolling. I start thinking the game would be better without it, because all it does is to annoy you. 30 digits is horrible. It screams "improve me" so loudly that the whole spicy world has heard it. Only the horse remains stoic amidst wailing of the mourning chat.
Good bye BC,
it was a great pleasure and a horrible time sink at the same time. Still, I will regret not having gotten a lvl 20 unit for a screenshot memory.
For those who missed it, the developer team around Runeslayer is currently working on a new fantasy game called Empyrean Rule - Rise of the Ancients. Uniting real time strategy with a huge game world, featuring unique lore, player created kingdoms, siege and underground battles and much more. For more info you can check out their homepage (http://empyreanrule.com) or search on youtube etc.
Ok, will remember to do some patch notes during the bigger patches for you !!
