Level 55 with my hunter and I have noticed some things with equipping bows with higher agi/str. It seems as though doing this actually makes my attack delay increase (instead of decrease). Not sure if this is because str is detrimental to attack speed, but this in general seems a little unusual and honestly counterproductive as breaking the 1.2-1.3 delay mark seems impossible if you want the better bows. I might go back and just keep a level 1 bow the entire game and see if its better due to the lower delay which hopefully it wouldn't be. Either way it seems some sort of explanation on the tooltip or help/faq is needed on this.
I think this belongs in the faq, it's a little more power user than people typically care to know, attack speed is based on a ratio between str/agi. Your attack speed will slow down very slightly if the remain proportionally the same at higher amounts. The dps increase from the strength far outweights this tho. The higher quality/level bows are by far better, even if slightly slower.
