This is just ridiculous how desperate webmmo is for getting money out of players suggesting almost nothing in return. Awful translation not only in grammar, very limited field of actions, painful levelling later, bugs, lags, cheating bosses, cancellation of some cool events, inadequately small rewards for quests and cards, heck, even VIP bonuses are so-so.
Maybe the reason is that game is dying. You can see the signs of it - 20-30 same high level names in chat everyday, server merges, devs trying to squeeze last drops of gold by events like "who will spend the most gold". Seriuosly, they're holding it right now!
Could be a great game, maybe it was...But in the way it is now it's 2-2,5 out of 5...
Devs, lose the energy, make levelling and gameplay overall fun and rewarding, it's not too late.
I remember playing something like this on my Nokia some time ago. That game had better look to it. Actually, I remember that game being called armies of war
Although I tried to play all 4 previous installments, I liked the 3rd one the most. This one comes close, could be on the first place if not for:
1. Hero dead = game over. Bring back castles, or make him ressurectable.
2. Spells. Again, liked the 3rd one, where you can buy and then select spells you like. I find it very annoying to cycle through units searching for the spell. More to it - for regen I have to equip vampires, whom i don't need. Also shared pool of mana doesn't add fun, on top of that - no boosters for regen =(
3. Trial bosses. To freaking much HP. Stuck with Colossus, though didn't encounter any trouble beating Inferno in extra.
4. "RPG elements". Kinda raw - one equip and no big choices for leveling.
5. Maybe there's something else i forgot to mention =)
Come on, people...Don't whine about waiting time. It sure is frustrating, but hell...Play other games during those 1,5 hours needed to get in-game week. It takes 40 minutes on 2x speed to spend it.
OTOH, non-token recipe for a bow which requires token resources is a low blow. I don't mind tokens, but hey, some people prefer to buy new radio-controlled helicopter rather than tokens. And some don't have enough money to feed your greed.
Problem is - such a lovely game rendered unjoyable with that MUST BUY option. Why must? Cause if you want achievement for full upgrade you'll HAVE TO spend 1k tokens. Need brand new shiny items? PAY US for the recipe!
Guild system is not the worst, but... why can't my own workers improve their surroundings?
Isn't it irrational to bug your neighbours with repairing YOUR house?
There's "PAY US!" written all over the game. I mean come on, all that lag and buy gaming time packages stuff...it belongs to facebook.
Why the hell should i even bother with this game?
2/5 (one for concept realization and 1 for graphics, could be 5 if not for greediness)
Another thing about endless dugeon - On the second floor you always fight monsters you ended up fighting previous time. If you headed out on lvl 15+ you'll fight demons on the second floor next time. On the next floor you'll be fighting usual monsters again.
I really liked playing this game, but there's few things I can't put up with.
1.Confusion with stats. By the end of the game i nearly maxed all out and figured some, but without explanation of what they do...they just seem pointless.
2.Magic. Being a mage you can easily defeat the last boss without stockpiling potions and stuff. And you can't miss with spells, which is kinda irritating when you encounter mage type enemies. Magic defence and resistance just don't seem to influence anything.
3.Crafting. There's no way you can get low tier materials later on. You can't buy or even convert materials. =(.
4.Endless dungeon - has 2 issues that ruin the challenge of the game for me, but Kongregate won't let me go in detail with comment limited by 1k symbols. In short - you can become rich and powerful just by re-entering the dungeon (you get progressively more gold and it's easier to find artifacts this way).
Wish I knew about kongregate when i first played this game =)
Also strange glitch - I started a new game, chosen biological class, but after tutorial battle i turned out to be psychological. Restarted once again and now I play as hydraulic o_O I like it, but still...
