@kiraice: soul isn't prior to anything. When you have defense up, you can take any one enemy (except the 500 and 1000 health guys). Use your level up items when your soul is low.
Nice game, but way too easy when you figure it out. I don't really know which is best, but max out greed or defense first. With greed you can always buy stuff and you'll always make more cash with instant kill/remove object (25 for item, 50 reward). Then just buy levelups (and you'll get +2 when you max defense). I got ATTACK, DEFENSE, SIGHT and GREED maxed @ lvl 20
Completed in way under 25 minutes (last achievement needed was 25 games, so the last few games I just died in 5 sec ;)). It's a fun game, nice to add achievements (everyone does it, but that doesnt make it less fun). Too bad it's 'over' after you've completed all achievements (my 2, 3 min flight and the 4 oceans were all in the same game by the way :P). Kudo's, nice game! 5/5

Great game. One comment on the programming style: I asume you've used a hit test: you hit a object, it responds. But with the framerate, most items are placed on x = 100 (you at x = 50), then next frame x = 0 (so no hit detected). Maybe next time, look if the x = lower than the turtle x, and check if the y was the same before and after. That way you know the two did hit (would be "more fun" I guess).

@Prplcheez: omg... nice idea, controls are a bit tricky but you get the hang of it after a level or 2. But... no sound or is that just me? Deserves sound. Otherwise: great game!
When you leave the screen, it's 'cheating', no way to be less sensitive about that.
When you move the mouse too fast, it's cheating. This happens when you move more than 1 block per frame. In 7x7 mode that's quite sensitive, true.
Will fix in version 2 (probably will have keyboard movement instead of mouse)

I make games too, and I really hate it when people don't read. If the music is annoys you, first look if you can figure out how to turn it off. It's not that hard, actually, it's the most logical solution when you can't spot a button. Especially when it's mentioned before you begin your game...
