So there was a anti zombie special agent in Candyland. He find a way to extract some occult powers from rainbows to fight the creatures of the night. Always cool, showing no emotions at all suddenly a evil grin appear on his face as he start a carnage for the sake of his world. (Really funny way to revamp a old classic game Good job !!!)
The human campaign was enjoyable but the Alien one is horrible. It's not about being hard it's more unfair settings. Each time I respawn get killed 2 sec after because I spawn between 3 enemies with one shot weapons ready to nail me right away and the teammates stealing the great stuff but get killed before using it. I don't call that a team I call that traitors XD
Really well done game. The soundtrack is really sticking to the style of the game. I find it interesting not having to mash a key to attack enemies which permit you to concentrate on dodging more efficiently and the aiming for special attacks is easy to master. In conclusion, the control's responsiveness shine on this game and I think this point is essential in any games.
I like this game overall but so many things are annoying me. First, the smithy is quite useless offering things requiring a too high skill or weapons that I don't need for a ridiculously high price. Second, even with a weapon of mass destruction that can handle Ragnarok easily I fail to kill weakest enemies just because the game sends 50 of them at once and my allies are too slow at aiming which result in a instant KO no matter how strong you are. Third, putting overpowered raids with the boss is just like instant game over since : 1. You never have enough repair kits and you got to wait forever to use one twice 2. Same apply for the nades except the delay 3. Casual is in no way easier than normal 4. Being stuck with the starting weapon forever unless you upgrade it yourself is kinda dumb since the enemies hp curve+dmg is growing insanely fast So to conclude, I give it a 4 because of the useless features and the lack of balance.
When I can feel the developer signature and how much fun he had doing his game then for me it's become a daily jewel. Thank you for continuing to give me hope for the future of gaming because you understand that a game is about having fun. :D
On level 6, I love how the blocks get stuck randomly on invisibles platforms. I know what to do but its hard to aim when you don't even see what is down there. Still, I wanna be the guy is still the most frustating game ever and close in 2nd place Karate kid on NES.
Nice game but like others said earlier there is some debugging to do. In addition, I think the collision on some ledges is a little off since I get through ledge and die even if I have my character completely jumped over it.
There is only a thing that's annoying me. There is some rows where I have difficulty to see the letters completely. Maybe using a darker green on letter could fix this.
I'm glad to have found this game. This remind me of when I was playing (and still playing sometimes) funny point and click games .
PS.: I love the two references to the exellent classic "The secret of Monkey Island"
1. "Is it Guybrush Threepwood..."
2. The insult system cameo in the final showdown
Wonderfull game!!!! The 8 bits music soundtrack of this game is excellent. The control is really good except when there is a lot of lasers. It's a really solid puzzle platformer. There is many save points and there is not too much timing related puzzles. You got a map to help you find the puppies and "r" to respawn to the last save point. Be sure to go left first to the tutorial zone to learn all the way to use the swap gun.
Nice game but it seem to have a problem with level cache. Each time you replay a level or you play a new level, it stay in memory and add up until you run out then the game freeze.
Thank you TnargYtsanad.
