I almost died twice from literally falling asleep during one of the many overly long battles. The circular motion you make while fighting can be quite hypnotizing.
Fun and addicting game although there are certainly a lot of things that could be fixed. For example, all of the recipes I buy actually give me the ability to craft something else than what it says.
Loved the detail of the artwork. The whole game had a great feel to it, like a dream that seems real but doesn't make logical sense. Also great how the end game music brings back the song you play earlier.
The game is awesome besides the 2nd boss, which made me want to hurt myself. I also felt the crazy monster with the cleaver was too easy. Gnome king was really fun.
Pretty fun game, my only complaint is that the little complete level song keeps on playing after you hit "next level" making it drown out the song you're trying to listen to. Wasn't a problem once I realized to let the song finish before pressing the "next level" button.
Also I would suggest to have it highlight the starting note for you. In all music theory exams in this style, you will be given the starting note in order to make it fair between people who have perfect pitch and people who don't.
It's obvious a lot of thought went into this, but it looks like all of the thought went into the concept and not into the actual gameplay. It would have been nice to see the ideas built on more and more in a longer game. Also, just because the story is abstract doesn't mean the gameplay has to be boring.
I completed one level without looking at the list because the objects are obviously textured differently from the background. Sometimes they are transparent (why?) and are in places that make no physical sense. Bad script/story as well ..1/5.
Great game. My only big complaint is that it should default to the weapon you most recently had equipped. It was annoying to run out of focus in one of the forms with a weapon and then come back out using the starting machine gun, so I had to spam E a bunch of times.
