It s a good game. I d only recommend adding hotkeys for the right hand to target each character (e.g. HJKL switch the target to tank, berzerker, ranger and healer).
Another convenience upgrade would be if the game remembered the last difficulty of a boss that you fought against. If you farm a boss on brutal 5 times for an artifact, the game should not suggest to fight the boss on normal difficulty on the 6th try forcing you to manually switch to brutal difficulty again (or forget it and fight on the wrong difficulty)
@mateo0802: there is a blue and orange light in the background. One of your balls has to hit both spots (the ball shines in the colors it has hit). When the ball acquires the power of both the blue and the orange light, it has the might to damage Tesla (the spider thingy). When you damage him 3 times, you win. If Tesla eats your ball with 0 or 1 light activated, it simply devours it without getting damaged and you have to launch a new ball
@dbag. It tells you to enter axis as a password to play the "secret" character. If you cant read and are to stupid to follow simple instructions it is not the games fault you cant play this character.
For a 2009 game it is pretty neat and Id rate it 3.5/5. As the game is rated a little to low because of stupid people like dbag who give it a 1 because of their own incompetence, I decided to round up and give it a 4
@pldl I think all of the levels listed are hard, but doable. I e.g. managed to grt 0 deaths on level 47 whereas I think level 30 is pretty hard (not mentioned by you). Some of the 60s arent easy either so you might consider getting 0 deaths on all 40s+ 50s
@PLATON_SKEDOW Thank you for your reply. I fixed the issue by deleting the previous cookie and starting the game over again. Now the badges seem to report correctly and as I was only at 38 stars (not that far) and as the game is great and innovative in several ways I didnt mind starting over again. Soon, I should reach 30 stars (again) and get the medium badge.
Since the new version came (v1.2) came out, the badges no longer work for me. E.g. it still shows that I would have 26 stars on the medium badge (which I had yesterday), but ingame I have 38 stars. Also my challenge progress is no longer depicted
Just made several tests, everything goes ok. You can check it yourself. Open game in debug mode: http://www.kongregate.com/games/platon_skedow/royal-squad?debug_level=4 and then open console (click anywhere outside the flash game, press CTRL+SHIFT+I and then select "console" tab. It's in Chrome beb browser. You'll see each time which data the game transfers after completing a level.
If this issue still occurs, send a message to kongregate support - there's nothing I can do with it :( Sorry.
when you kill a monster, the arrows just disappear mid-air. So you have to wait until the archer shoots a new arrow to poison an enemy. It would be more convenient and speed up the game if the arrows would either continue flying and hit the next monster when you kill the current one, or if the speed upgrade would also increase the speed of the arrows in air. You dont need several arrows in the air all slowly (compared to e.g. warriir hits or dmg hit) making it to your enemy. The warrior has already landed several hits until the first arrow the archer shot hits its target.
@tuval: you could try setting the game quality to low (right-click-menu) or change the flash player version. If this doesnt help and you dont want to change browsers/delete cookies, the only thing that could help is trying better hardware. You can easily copy your browser profile and replace the existing one in another computer to transfer your current game state to another (faster) computer.
It is definitely not caused by poor coding as me (and probably most other players) dont experience this problem

tip: launch at the lowest angle possible to acquire max speed. Stay as a ball this way you dont lose speed when hitting objects that improve your altitude, also the rocket will be useless at 500mph (for me 60 seems to be the maximum rocket speed)
