What exactly were you trying to accomplish with this?
Not much. I just wanted to make a bunch of weird architecture and environments. Ultimately it was supposed to change along with the mutation but I had one month to make it so I had to rush a lot of it, and never completed a lot of the stuff. I can understand what you're saying though, looking back I feel it seems forced especially missing so much.
