Certainly not a paragon of the genre but a cute little game; no pixel hunting or obtuse logic, the mini puzzles were nice with the option to skip most, and it didn't outstay its welcome, a solid 4/5.
*playing early in the morning* "That's better than all but 2 other players! You only need to run 158 meters more to be first!" Woot! Done for now then. *comes back that evening* Alright, beat my own high score, am I first now? "You only need to run 3573 meters more to be first!" ... T_T
That's some interesting names for the other racers, L. Animals and R. JAM. ;) I see no T. Nuke though...? D: (...feel like I'm missing someone, scared to post this! oh well, here goes)
I've tried to come up with how a second-person shooter would work before, despite having no means or skills to make such a game. Best I could figure was a stealth/infiltrator-style where you could only see using the security cameras of a building. I think yours fits much better as true second-person though. :D Love it~
As someone who really enjoys this type of puzzle and has played it in many different variations with lots of different UIs, I can safely say this is the clunkiest, most annoying to use of them all. It's a good thing I already know how to play too, because your instructions don't help much at all. So far I'm not impressed with the puzzles either but I haven't done them all. This is in addition to all the other complaints I have about every single one of your other games in this style which have remained consistent despite constant pleading from your players (the lack of a "next puzzle" button being the most egregious of them). It's decently well put together so I don't really want to, but I'm sorry, your refusal to listen to feedback gives this a 1/5.
...wait, what? You lost your "rectal hymen"? Oh Matt, you so silly.
...also, I decided to keep track of who was on the receiving end of every *CENSORED* attack. Matt four times and Lance once, but it never touched Nat. XD
It's funny, I had just dug up Santa Rockstar 3 again a few days ago to play, wondering if you would release another this year. Thanks a lots. XD Let's see what songs we have this year~
At first I thought the lifespan meter and soulshrines were stupid, then I saw the day count and realized this poor girl has been running continually for over a week with no food or sleep and only a couple of potions for sustenance, of COURSE she's about to die of exhaustion. Someone get her to the magical heals-mortal-wounds RPG inn for some rest! ;.;
I love the Creeper World series, great to have a now infinite amount of levels since I've never felt the need to replay ones I've beaten for score or such. My only beefs with this game are one semi-serious thing and one incredibly minor thing. It's kind of annoying to only have the levels from the last week available; though the amount of levels is infinite, the amount available at any one time is only seven. It'd be nice to sit down and marathon a few levels, you know? The minor thing is maybe you could have a random planet name generator. "Damn you, Fri Dec 21 2012!" doesn't quite have the same punch as "Damn you, Tucana!"
Seriously, f*** Tucana.
Jesus, Andy. The sun's barely rising and you're already on your 19th beer? You need to cut back, buddy. This drinking and your gambling addiction are gonna ruin your life.
