Best strat seems to be to sit a single port, observe the prices, buy things when they're cheap and sell then when they're expensive. You don't have to move at all so you don't waste any days. But make sure to sit at a port with rubies and jade so you can go big.
People are saying don't play spell cards, but actually units cost souls (ox head symbol) to spawn. Spamming a bunch of weak units wastes souls, so often better to play a spell card (or nothing) then start spawning a 1/1.
Had my fully upgraded commando standing near my artillery unit. I'm pounding the enemy with missiles. And then of my missiles doesn't seem to fly. RRAHSHDHSDHSHDFSASDSADASD!
No no no. They did this wrong. So much potential here, but the design is terrible. It's not clear which doors to go through and the character moves very slowly, making the experience draining. Additionally, a lot of the gameplay elements are unclear about what they do. For example, it's not obvious that water will kill you, and I only learned that after dying. Same with a lot of the enemies. All that said, I presume that the story is just as bad, and won't be finishing this.
A little too easy to construct a red(human) energy/quick-kill deck that beats everything. But was fun. Needs a little polish here and there, but it's pretty enjoyable.
It's too easy to push the crates into a corner and have to restart. And there ought to be some time before the level starts that players can see the level and plan what to do.
