cool game. Some things that doesn't make sense is the economics of the game. It's very expensive to repair. Ammunition like bombs sell for a ton of money so would be stupid to ever use them if you intend to buy new ships. Also why are ships so expensive compared to the cargo? You would suspect that an entire ship packed with coffee/rum or what not isn't worth more than it costs to bolt on some planks on my poor ship. Suggestion: If you want to keep the system like this at least make it possible to loot ships/towns for gold directly. That's what pirates are after anyway and many ships carried gold too in addition to the other cargo
