The game itself is pretty decent but the energy system like many P2W games ruins everything and eventually you get sick of waiting hours to play for a few minutes at a time. I don't get why these games go this terrible route.
The game is pretty good but like others have mentioned the hitboxes being quite difficult to get used to especially for flying enemies. There are also grammar issues in descriptions of skills and such that need to be corrected just to server as polish.
Not too bad of a game and a pretty good spin on your classic RPG elements. The main problem is that it needs polishing and a bit better balancing as the game allows you to have more than one Knight. Also someone needs to run through the dialogue and spell check everything a few times because it's obvious you (the Dev) is not a native English born.
Awesome! I'm super stoked to be playing Enchanted Cave again! I can't wait for some badges to add some replay value for when I need to make my way through a few more playthroughs! Please, please, PLEASE have 3-4 badges and make them challenging! Keep up the great work DustinAux!
The game isn't all that bad but I'll never be a real fan because of the energy system. I don't like being told how much I can play and I also especially HATE claiming a Hope bonus to only level up a battle or two later and wasting all that extra Hope, very frustrating. This is why I quit playing these energy based games. i don't like being forced into doing something else and coming back. Instead of an energy system most devs are using, drops and battles should just be unlimited to make it more grind-y. I would prefer not finding anything because having not played enough rather than being given tons of things but being limited at how often I can acquire them.
Well energy is certainly a polarizing feature. Some people hating being told how much they can play, but some people accepting that there has to be 'some' way for us devs to get a little cash flow. We'd like to think we have enough free stuff in the game to show that we're not all that bad, but still.... can't please everyone I guess :( Still, thanks for taking the time to write up your feelings in a non-rage-filled way :)
I didn't lose a single survivor until day 15 and 16 where I suddenly lost 2 on each day which makes no sense. I didn't get attacked and I've done the same thing I've done since day 1.
I don't know if anybody has noticed but I have been successfully casting Sleep on random enemies but they still attack even though they shouldn't have been able to. Might want to check into that. Also, I believe this game needs to be adjusted somewhat. I'm only in the Swamp and I believe I am nearing the next big area and I've already unlocked my sixth class for each character, I think it's a bit too fast compared to other RPG's I've played.
I'd love to be able to disable the tutorial. I am absolutely sick of it telling me to build stuff and do this and complete that every time I decide to level a building or do something that isn't part of the tutorial. The tutorial isn't even a tutorial, it just keeps telling me to build stuff I'm going to do eventually.
I am really enjoying this game even more than the first one. You've vastly improved the game in just about every way. I also can't stop thinking about how I keep feeling like I'm playing a little Chrono Trigger at the same time too. Drawing comparisons on Mari (Lucca) and Kaz (Magus).
Severe balancing issues coupled with extreme waiting times. How unfortunate that developers keep making these types of mistakes when there's already an enormous amount of games who have already gone down this road.
