SPOILERS! I beat the game with all points, but the concluding scenes say that I had a conversation with a certain faceless character that never took place. Sure, I had all the relevant clues, but that conversation never took place. Also, Ghvnn was telling me to look "hard enough" for clues at a certain location relevant to that same faceless character, but I couldn't find anything no matter what combination of actions I tried. I got all the points and right conclusions, but does anyone know what I was missing?
Pretty funny dialog, but kind of a clunky gaming experience. Also, there were no real puzzles. It was just a matter of clicking everything. Enjoyable enough that I give it a 3/5, and I hope future installments improve on the actual gameplay.
I'm really enjoying this game. If I could suggest anything, it'd be to color code the name tabs of speech boxes for ease of associating text with the appropriate speaker. Color can be seen in the periphery, and as it is now, you either have to glance back up at the name continuously or infer it from context.
It seems like the game is set up to trick me into accidentally clicking on a Game Ark link. That's a terrible way to direct traffic to a site and basically makes me hate Game Ark.
I love these games. I love the art style and the thought you put into levels, races, bikes, tricks, upgrades, etc. Also, nice mixture of Planet of the Apes and Kubrick references at the end there.
So is the driver drunk? Hopped up on caffeine or some other stimulant? Whatever their problem, they sure can't drive in a straight line for more than 50 feet.
After all the bugs and all, finally beating the damn thing feels like nothing special. Just kind of a slow, tedious grind. The controls have their issues too, from accidentally buying things while walking to the bunny running even when no longer clicking. Not huge, but annoying.
The game itself is hugely buggy too though, from loading nothing but a black screen to the game not rewarding motes when it should. Bugs like that make a game unwinnable, unplayable. It took several gos before the fox bug finally stopped destroying my games. Each time a game ruining bug occurs, a new game has to be started. It seriously gets annoying after a while, only to find the game is... well, the game is just whatever.
Okay... LunaDrift, if you see all my game bug reports, read this afterward. Apparently hitting refresh in firefox (possibly other browsers too) causes the game to not load correctly, at least for those who are trying to start a new game. Now to play the game finally!
Okay, seriously. This game is pretty fantastic, despite its cruel difficulty. The level design is damn good, and I really like the interaction of the tower and getting to new levels. It all feels very well thought out, and it is put together so nicely!
Hello, there! The conversation with said faceless character happens off-screen, so you didn't really miss anything. Good job on completing the game!
