I hate how you can spend literally thousands of gems to get accessories and pets and only get commons and rares. only 1% chance for epic is ridiculously low.
It would be cool if you could upgrade modules. For example you could spend 150 energy to increase the output of a reactor by 50%, or spend 200 metal to increase the durability of the station.

There's a difference between bad graphics and deliberately using pixels intentionally.
