I beat the last level simply by putting spike trap/barricade/spike trap/barricade/spike trap/archer/archer/archer and using a lot of the lightening for things I couldn't kill off with arrows in time. Got 3/3 stars as well. Theres no need to do any of the mumbo jumbo everyone else said.
After 9 grueling hours on consistent non-stop playing I am actually not so proud to say I have beaten the game... Didn't use full upgrades of: armor, rocket, extraction power, oil, or speed bonus. The rest including the potion I had to upgrade. The sword comes VERY in handy in the beginning and to beat the boss you absolutely have to spam click your mouse with the maxed out boots.
"Adds the "Ghost" effect and make it taste like dried mushrooms" "A stronger sword hit stronger". Whats up with the broken English? This is a game. One of which did very well for itself, why wouldn't the owners make sure there wasn't small stuff like that to fix?
Game definitely needs more tips, descriptions, and different "titles" for the new purchases of armor just to make the game more fun. Also there should be a "wasd" keys option for moving from left to right and launching because currently I've been having to use the arrow keys and click. Clicking seems to be a lot handier for me when playing than using the space bar. Other than all that, fantastic game. Added it to my favorites. 5/5.
Its important to upgrade the things that will give you the most money in the beginning then focus on priorities afterwards. Whatever you lack in you should get. The rocket launcher and the self defense pretty much can serve for the same purpose but the self defense is cheaper and better in critical situations.
The cannon is the best defensive turret because it pushes back the enemies slightly and it isn't too slow or too weak. The weakest and fastest being machine gun turret, and the slowest but strongest being the rocket turrent.
There needs to be a sound level adjuster thing... When on mic with someone its difficult to hear the other person. Or when playing a song, this volume matches the level on the song. :/
Thower, Bruiser, and Shooter all together make a deadly combination. Use the Bruiser as a sort of bait and bring his health way up by upgrading him and then further upgrade the attacks on both ranged and shoot everyone while staying at bay. I had a Bruiser with 500 health and never lost a match and the worst I've done so far is lose 1 ranged. Beat the game and plenty of other people. Try out that combo and like this comment.
I'm not going to type a lecture like everyone else but I really find it highly important to be able to speed up a wave otherwise its a shitty game in my opinion. I hope they make a new one.
