Beating the Boss (yeah, it's a little tricky)
I. First Stage - The Little ones
1. Kill the little ones in the corner.
1st ship - RAM, slow,turn, and the autoguns will take them out quick.
2nd ship - get in close, fire, and use the shields to keep you alive and kill them.
2. Damage the main boss
After you take out the little guys, the main boss will be vulnerable to attack. Try to slow into the sweet spot where you get hit less, and hit him away. From what I can tell, just use your primary gun as the other cannons don't seem to make a difference.
II. Second Boss State (Rotating Boss)
Speed up and strafe the boss. You may have to 180 if the head changes directions. Main goal is to stay away from the mouth fire bullets.
III. Third Stage (Boss EXPLOSION!)
boss just spews out a plethera of bullets, so Kamakazi the boss.
1st Ship - RAM the boss, and pray.
2nd Ship - Get in close enough to let your auto-guns fire, hold your shields on, and try to get whatever shots you can get off.
Nightmare: 385750 --> 482,750 A+
Trick - Pick the land that adds more mooks 1st round for more kills.
Trick2 - Have a kick-ass first round that allows you to hire (Monk / Warrior). That will allow you to beat the second round with 10+ clicks.
Still trying to figure out how to get A++ on Nightmare.
Tips
A. Early on in the game, select providences that upgrade the elites, ninjas, ect.. or simply, stuff you won't have to face early on.
B. Don't worry about money, and focus on getting as much XP as possible.
C. Get Warrior and Monk first with XP, then upgrade yourself.
D. Spend cash on permanent upgrades.
(I prefer the Heal Teammates 50 each click and Zen.)
I beat hardcore with A+. Still figuring out how to get the A++.
Upgrade system is broken, as the drop percentage doesn't go up when you upgrade new weapons.
Simply.. to win the game, only upgrade the guns you have and the mini-gun. That will increase the chance you have to get the final gun, or as you'll call it.. "your bread and butter".
Yeah.. easier than the first one. I just beat it in (3) days. Just need one decent first run, then go for height, radar, and money just flows in. Didn't even need parachutes this time. :P T
Gold in both! The trick is the yellows. Go for all yellows, the convert a large block to another color and that will make a larger blob. Then use those all for Life using the other yellow power. With that, you'll max your life out, and get a few Golden Eggs. Just make sure to time it right so you can collect the Golds. :)
