I am the desert wanderer. Abandoned by my brothers, I walk the desert by foot from settlement to settlement. The sand flows like waves, something I haven’t seen in years. The vast canyons are treacherous, yet strikingly beautiful. Nature is my only companion and she doesn’t seem fond of me. I have nothing but the stars as a guide, and my old hunting rifle for protection. The sun is king in this deceitful land, and he knows no mercy. What kind of punishment is this?
